The Hub
Premiere Issue

Winter can be arduous on one's pocketbook, particularly when one's boyfriend's birthday inconveniently falls in mid-January. All the same, I couldn't pass up this première issue of 'The Hub'. :: In the grand tradition of idiocy in the face of cruel providence and 'Oh bother! I really can't afford this but.', I'd very much like to share the following snapshots with you—of a most beautifully designed new periodical!

Conceived by Editor Tolu Adeko, and art directed by Tom Speirs, 'The Hub' means to enjoin no less than eleven cultural topics in a quietly spirited redefinition of 'wealth' to mean: 'A Wealth of Knowledge'.

Breathtakingly designed and stringently delivered, the refined beauty of its minimal page layouts softly bounce, float, and play through myriad subject matters. Not once do they delineate from their precisely defined type treatment, nor is there a single visual compromise to be found in all its 154 pages!

My envy, admiration, and most enthusiastic congratulations to the staff of 'The Hub' on their Issue One, entitled: 'Never Neverland'! (Hoo-rah³!)
